HVAC Service Technician
You will install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems. This is a diagnostic role as much as a wrench role: reading schematics, running tests, and explaining what you found to the homeowner.

Job summary
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential functions
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose system issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Perform field service tasks to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns
- Repair or replace defective parts with appropriate tools and techniques
- Collaborate with plumbing and electrical trades for comprehensive service delivery
- Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory
- Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards
Minimum qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Familiarity with HVAC design principles and refrigeration cycles
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (ohmmeters, pressure gauges, etc.)
- Welding ability for equipment repairs when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first focus
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must agree to background and drug check
